Golf Outing
Join us for an afternoon golf outing on the Wigwam’s most popular 18 holes. Built in 1972, the iconic Red Course is a traditional layout lined with pine and eucalyptus trees. Its wide fairways lead to generous-sized greens while streams and ponds meander throughout the course bringing water into play on ten holes. The course’s closing stretch of Holes 15, 16, 17 and 18 just may be the toughest final four holes in the Phoenix area. Designed by Arizona Golf Hall of Fame member and golf course architect Robert “Red” Lawrence (nicknamed the “Desert Fox”), this par 72 – 6,852-yard course is the perfect setting for this year’s industry scramble under the warm West Valley desert sun.
Per person registration charge includes greens and cart fee, box lunch, and drink tickets. Club rentals are available for an added fee. Full foursome and individual registrations welcome.
RNG Production & NGV Refueling Facilities Tour
Join fellow NGV stakeholders on an afternoon tour of noteworthy industry facilities in Greater Phoenix’s West Valley. This small registration fee includes transportation, with pick up and drop off at the Wigwam conference center.
91st Avenue WWTP
Designed, financed, built, owned, operated, and maintained (DFBOOM) by Ameresco, the RNG plant located at the 91st Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is the largest biogas-to-RNG facility of its kind in the United States. Owned by the sub-regional operating group member cities of Phoenix, Glendale, Mesa, Scottdale, and Tempe and operated by the City of Phoenix, the WWTP is capable of processing raw biogas at a rate of 3,250 scfm. Roughly 693,500 dth of RNG is produced annually by the RNG plant, roughly one acre in size; the gas is connected to a nearby interstate pipeline via a 3-mile RNG pipeline.
Waste Management
Waste Management’s Goodyear White Tank Hauling and Transfer Station features time fill and fast fill refueling dispensers as well as a multi-bay maintenance facility with complete CNG vehicle servicing capabilities.
